Approved
Background
Sweetwater Subdivision was developed with Bayberry Drive intersecting Buena

Vista Road (arterial) with the nearest intersection to the west being Manley

Drive. The distance between these two intersection is approximately 1,330

feet. There exists a 5.7 acre tract of land located just west of Bayberry

Drive that is being developed as a residential subdivision. The developer

requests that a new residential street be allowed to intersect Buena Vista Road

some 390 feet west of Bayberry Drive.
Analysis
There are no street stub outs to this property from any of the adjacent

developed land except for access to Buena Vista Road. For this reason, we

recommend approval of said variance.
Financial Considerations
There are no expenses to the City for approval of this variance.
Projected Annual Fiscal Impact Statement
Legal Considerations
Variances to Section 7.3.4 Street Layout of the UDO require Council approval.
Recommendations/ Actions
Approve a variance to Street Layout to allow 390 feet between Bayberry Drive

the proposed Richland Drive along Buena Vista Road.
