Background

That portion of English Ivy Drive located in Section Two Phase One and that

Portion of Ivy Wood Drive, that portion of English Ivy Drive and that portion

of Forest Crown Drive located in Section Three Phase One, Ivy Park has

thirty-six residential lots. The streets have been improved and meet the

required specifications for acceptance by the City.

Analysis

Deeds been conveyed to the City conveying That portion of English Ivy Drive

located in Section Two Phase One and that Portion of Ivy Wood Drive, that

portion of English Ivy Drive and that portion of Forest Crown Drive located in

Section Three Phase One, Ivy Park. A description of the property is as

follows: All those lots, tracts and parcels of land lying and being in Land Lot

233, of the 19th District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, and shown as

Extension of English Ivy Drive as said rights-of-ways are shown on the map or

plat entitled "Section Two, Phase One, Ivy Park, Part of Land Lot 233, 19th

District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia" prepared by Hobbs, Smith &

Associates, Inc., dated August 14, 2006, said plat recorded in Plat Book 158,

page 31, in the Office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Muscogee County,

Georgia. And All those lots, tracts and parcels of land lying and being in

Land Lot 234, of the 19th District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, and

shown Ivy Wood Drive, Forest Crown Drive and Extension of English Ivy Drive as

said rights-of-ways are shown on the map or plat entitled "Section Three, Phase

One, Ivy Park, Part of Land Lot 234, 19th District, Columbus, Muscogee County,

Georgia" prepared by Hobbs, Smith & Associates, Inc., dated August 14, 2006,

said plat recorded in Plat Book 158, page 32, in the Office of the Clerk of the

Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia

Financial Considerations

No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty.

Legal Considerations

In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by Council.

Recommendations/ Actions

Approve the Resolution accepting the deeds to That portion of English Ivy Drive

located in Section Two Phase One and that Portion of Ivy Wood Drive, that

portion of English Ivy Drive and that portion of Forest Crown Drive located in

Section Three Phase One, Ivy Park.
