Background
Scottsdale Ct, Sante Fe Ct and that portion of Silverado Dr located in Section

Five, Sonoma Pointe has sixty-one residential lots. The streets have been

improved and meet the required specifications for acceptance by the City.
Analysis
A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying Scottsdale Ct, Sante Fe Ct and

that portion of Silverado Dr. located in Section Five, Sonoma Pointe. A

description of the property is as follows: All those lots, tracts and parcels

of land lying and being in Land lot 31 of the 9th District, Columbus, Muscogee

County, Georgia, and shown as Scottsdale Court, Sante Fe Court and Extension of

Silverado Drive, as said roads and right-of ways are shown on the map or plat

entitled "Section Five, Sonoma Pointe, Lying in Land Lot 31, 9th District,

Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia", prepared by Hobbs Smith & Associates,

Inc., dated March 6, 2007, said plat recorded in Plat Book 159, page 99, in the

Office of the Clerk of Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia.
Financial Considerations
No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty.

Legal Considerations
In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

rights-of-way must be accepted by Council.
Recommendations/ Actions
Approve the Resolution accepting a deed to Scottsdale Ct, Sante Fe Ct and that

portion of Silverado Dr located in Section Five, Sonoma Pointe.
