Background

Woodville Drive and that portion of Woodville Court located in the First

Addition to Whitesville Walk has twenty-five residential lots. The streets

have been improved and meet the required specifications for acceptance by the

City.

Analysis

A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying Woodville Drive and that portion

of Woodville Court located in the First Addition to Whitesville Walk. A

description of the property is as follows: All those tracts and parcels of

land situate, lying and being in the State of Georgia, County of Muscogee and

City of Columbus, and being known and designated on that certain map or plat

entitled "First Addition to Whitesville Walk, Lying in Land Lot 62, 8th

District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia" prepared by Moon, Meeks, Mason &

Vinson, Inc., under date of February 2, 2007, a copy of same being recorded in

Plat Book 150, Folio 79, of the records in the Office of the Clerk of the

Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia, to which plat reference is hereby

made for more specific dimensions, as the following herein described streets,

to-wit: All of Woodville Drive and Woodville Court and any and all cul de sac

adjacent to said streets, all as shown on said plat.

Financial Considerations

No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty.

Legal Considerations

In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

rights-of-way must be accepted by Council.

Recommendations/ Actions

Approve the Resolution accepting a deed to Woodville Drive and that portion of

Woodville Court located in the First Addition to Whitesville Walk.
