Approve the attached Ordinance to delete street segments and right-of-way of \n \n Zenos Drive, Dirk Way and Upland Way from Official Street Map. Approve a \n \n subsequent resolution accepting new streets and rights-of-way in exchange.

Background

Tiger Creek Development is developing a new subdivision along properties that

adjoin street segments of Zenos Drive, Dirk Way and Upland Way. the new

subdivision layout does not coincide with the proposed street developments.

Therefore it is in the City's interest to 1) Delete these streets segments from

public streets 2) Quit Claim street segments of Zenos Drive, Dirk Way and

Upland Way in exchange for accept new streets and right-of-ways. Resolution

for Quit claim and street acceptance to be submitted for Council at the same

time of the 2nd reading for this Ordinance, January 23, 2007.

Analysis

This development will basically swap existing plated rights-of-way for new

street rights-of-way.

There is no expense to the City.
