Background
Mr. Stephen R. Capers is requesting that the City execute a Quit Claim Deed to

him for all rights, title and interest the City may have in the Drainage &

Utility Easement located at the westerly property line of 6836 Mobley Road, Lot

3-B as shown on Replat of Lot 3, Replat of Property of Robert M. Smith, for the

purpose of dividing the existing property into three building lots.
Analysis
The Drainage & Utility Easement are located at the westerly property line of

6836 Mobley Road, Lot 3-B as shown on Replat of Lot 3, Replat of Property of

Robert M. Smith, Lying in Land Lot 63, 8th District, Columbus, Muscogee County,

Georgia, Dated May 1st, 1996, and recorded in Plat Book 131, Folio 16 in the

Office of the Clerk of Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia. All public

Utilities have sent written confirmation relinquishing their rights to said

easement. The Engineering Department has examined the property and has no

objection to abandoning the easement.

There will be no cost to the City.
