Background
Saddlehorn Drive located in Saddlehorn Subdivision has twenty-two residential

lots. The street has been improved and meets the required specifications for

acceptance by the City.
Analysis
A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying Saddlehorn Drive located in

Saddlehorn Subdivision. A description of the property is as follows: All that

tract and parcel of land situate, lying and being in the State of Georgia,

County of Muscogee and City of Columbus, and being known and designated on that

certain map or plat entitled "Saddlehorn, Lying in Land Lot 27, 18th District,

Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia", dated January 9, 2006, made by Moon,

Meeks, Mason & Vinson, Inc., and recorded in Plat Book 156, Page 76 in the

office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia, to which

plat reference is made for more specific dimensions, as the following herein

described street, to-wit: All of Saddlehorn Drive.
Financial Considerations
No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty expires.

Legal Considerations
In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by written resolution by Council.
Recommendations/ Actions
Approve the Resolution accepting a deed to Saddlehorn Drive located in

Saddlehorn Subdivision.
