Background
That portion of Grove Park Drive located in Section One is part of the Grove

Park Commercial Development. The street has been improved and meets the

required specifications for acceptance by the City.
Analysis
A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying that portion of Grove Park Drive

located in Section One, Grove Park Commercial Development. A description of

the property is as follows: All that lot, tract and parcel of land lying and

being in Land Lot 61 of the 8th District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia,

and shown as all of Grove Park Drive, as said road and right-of-way are shown

on map or plat entitled "Right-of-Way Survey, Part of Land Lot 61, 8th

District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia" prepared by Moon, Meeks, Mason &

Vinson, Inc., dated January 25, 2006, said recorded in Plat Book 156, page 84,

in the Office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia.
Financial Considerations
No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty.

Legal Considerations
In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by Council.
Recommendations/ Actions
Approve the Resolution accepting a deed to That portion of Grove Park Drive

located in Section One, Grove Park Commercial Development.
