Approval is requested to grant an easement to Public Service Telephone Company \n \n on property located on the public right of way of Beaver Run Road/U.S. Highway \n \n 80, an area consisting of a strip of land fifteen (15) feet in width along \n \n Parcel "B1" and Parcel "B2" in Muscogee County. The easement requested is \n \n depicted on the attachments with the easement area highlighted in yellow.

Background

Public Service Telephone Company would like to secure an easement across two
parcels of property to which the Columbus Consolidated Government has a
leasehold interest from the Columbus Building Authority (see attached letter).
The easements will go across and through the public right of way of Beaver Run
Road/U.S. Highway 80.

Analysis

The installation of the cable will not interfere with the current use of the
property. The easement would be granted with conditions as provided on the
attachment. The Engineering Department has reviewed the request and recommends
the granting of the easement.
