Background
Leaning Pine Court, that portion of Southlake Drive and that portion of

Garrett Pines Drive located in Section Five, Garrett Pines has seventy-eight

residential lots. The streets have been improved and meet the required

specifications for acceptance by the City.
Analysis
A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying Leaning Pine Court, that

portion of Southlake Drive and that portion of Garrett Pines Drive located in

Section Five, Garrett Pines. A description of the property is as follows: All

those lots, tracts and parcels of land lying and being in Land Lot 130 & 159 of

the 9th District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, and shown as all of

Leaning Pine Court and extension of Southlake Drive and Garrett Pines Drive,

lying in Section Five, Garrett Pines, shown on the map or plat entitled

"Section Five, Garrett Pines, prepared by Hobbs Smith & Assoc., Inc., dated

January 27, 2006.
Financial Considerations
No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty expires.

Legal Considerations
In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by Council.
Recommendations/ Actions
Approve the Resolution accepting a deed to Leaning Pine Court, that portion of

Southlake Drive and that portion of Garrett Pines Drive located in Section

Five, Garrett Pines.
